I managed to hoe the mini weeds from my rhubarb bed and the two soft fruit beds next to it. I was delighted to see some nice healthy looking rhubarb shoots pushing through the soil. I took a couple of pictures for the record.
I have been wondering if I should chance sowing my broad bean seeds and I decided it is worth the risk. My friend Darren, arrived to feed his chickens on the allotment next door, he thinks we have more snow to come, but that will be good for the plants and seeds tucked away in the soil. I then spent the rest of the session sewing my broad bean seeds, watch this space. Everything is looking really good, and begging for the start of Spring and the good growing weather to come.
