The Warmest Colour is Blue

Picture
THE WARMEST COLOUR IS BLUE
The colours of the mind see red and yellow as danger
Red, very hot, a fiery furnace burning flames, boiling water
Scalding , searing, burning the skin with red angry weals .
Yellow as sunshine and solar  heat
Leading to the vicious heat of the desert sun
Yellow and red mingling to orange flames generating wildfire.

Picture
The colours of the mind see blue and green as safe,
Blue is cool, icy aquamarine streaks on icebergs,

Picture
Frosty blue ice crystals on a window pane, ice that burns to the touch.
Our frost-bitten hands and skin turn blue with cold,
Angry storm tossed waves on a blue tinted sea.

Green is verdant fruitful fields and abundant crops.
My love has eyes of the deepest blue,
Powerful, enquiring, a penetrating hue,

Picture
A warmth of deep feeling smiling through,
Generating heat that powers through
To the icy core, overwhelming every other hue,
Generating fire with desire.
The warmest colour is BLUE.
