ELEGY POEM
By John Yeo
There is a living memorial to you both
A large aged Oak tree rises above
The pretty lawned area of garden
Where you rest together forever.
The acorns fall from the Oak tree
And cover the grass where you rest
Providing food for wildlife
And branches where songbirds nest.
Two lives lived together as one
A life that you built together
A gardener who grew and tended
A garden that you shared with love.
You came together late in life
Another chapter with a new beginning
Bringing peace to you both with love
Until you both passed on from here.
