Hallo! How are you?
We have played bowls together before,
I am John, I remember you well
We have played many matches together,
Shook hands many times after a game
I recognise your face
You have a very familiar face
We have talked together before.
I have a photographic memory
I can see pictures in my mind.
Places, people, many things
I never forget a face.
I remember people very well,
Yet, although I can remember
Facts and figures galore
For the life of me names escape me
Who are you?
It has always to me been very clear
On introduction a name will just disappear
