HOW I WISH I HAD NEVER SAID THAT!
18th November 2013
To put my foot in a grammatical mess
Would not be so earth shattering: If only.
To say when writing to a friend,
I am really anxious to meet you.
Am I really full of fear at the prospect
Of meeting my very good friend?
Anxiety implies a fear of danger or misfortune,
I wish I had never said that!
My desire to meet my friend is real,
I would love to rephrase the feeling,
Take back the unfortunate word anxious,
How I wish I had never said that!
I am actually very eager to meet you,
Very happy and excited at the prospect.
I would replace the unfortunate word, anxious.
I wish I had never said that!
